sunday june 1st

so for the month of June we are going to try to post an entry every day. Life is moving by too fast and we tend to forget the little things that really make up life.

Daisy and I are sitting in the yard enjoying the late afternoon breeze. The sun is hidden by clouds - there is a storm moving this way - we can hear the distant thunder. We can also hear the baby mockingbirds chirping. There's a nest in the bush right beside the front door, that's why we are sitting in the middle of the yard rather than on the porch. Don't want to disturb the parents.

I think we need a bird book - there are lots of different birds here. Along with the Mocking birds, there's a wood pecker pecking away at the tree beside us. It's like our own little aviary!

oh - the thunder is getting louder - must go!
